Hamdan and US Naval Commander discuss ties
Sheikh Hamdan with John W. Miller (WAM)
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai,
received in Dubai at Emirates Towers in the presence of Sheikh Maktoum bin
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Vice Admiral John W.
Miller, Commander, US Naval Forces, Central Command Commander, US 5th Fleet
Commander, Combined Maritime Forces and the visiting military delegation.
Both sides discussed military cooperation between the UAE and US and ways to
boost them to safeguard security and stability in the region.
The two sides stressed that the existing cooperation between the two
countries is an important factor for peace in the region and world.
Present were Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimi, State Minister, Major General Mohammed
Dhaen Al Qamzi, Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of the Department
of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai, and US Ambassador to UAE Michael
Corbin. |
