Mohammed bin Rashid orders implementation of "Al Berwaz Tower project"
with a cost of AED 120 million
Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has directed to implement Al Berwaz
Tower project "Dubai Landmark" at Zabeel Park in Dubai.
Eng. Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality briefed
Sheikh Mohammed on the map about the cultural tourism project.
Dubai Municipality which is supervising the design, implementation and
management of the project, which will be a new addition to the distinctive
Dubai landmarks.
Present were H. H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown
Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Deputy Ruler of Dubai and H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman
of Dubai Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group.
Lootah said that "Dubai LandMark" with a total cost of AED 120 million is a
promising tourism project and expected to attract about two million visitors
and tourists. The tower has an altitude of 150 m and width of 105 m.
He emphasized that the project will start within four months and will be
completed by the end of the next year.
