UAE coffee brand launches new franchise concept
Coffee Planet
Last year the company opened the largest roasting plant in the UAE
Gulf-born coffee roaster Coffee Planet has revealed its new franchise
concept in a bid to expand its global presence.
The premium coffee company – which currently has franchise outlets in its
UAE home market as well as Qatar, Pakistan and Malaysia – is offering four
formats under the new model: café, kiosk, cart and vending.
The new franchise options, as well as a refreshed look for the brand, are
part of Coffee Planet’s plans to grow across the region and beyond.
The company’s managing director Robert Jones said: “The launch of our new
franchise concept marks a milestone achievement as we continue to update
areas of the business as part of our wider rebranding strategy.
“We have dedicated significant time and investment to enhance our ability to
deliver freshly roasted 100 per cent Arabica specialty coffee to everyone
around the world and our improved franchise model is aligned to this
vision.”
Coffee Planet aims to support new franchise partners with barista training,
contractor selection, outlet design, operations, and market guidance.
Last year the company signalled its growth intentions by opening the largest
roasting plant in the UAE.
A decade after launching in Dubai, it invested Dhs10m in a new factory in
Jebel Ali, doubling the size of its roasting factory from 6,000 square feet
to 14,000 square feet with the capacity to roast up to 100 tonnes of coffee
per month.
