Mohammed tours Cityscape
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice
President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai visited this year’s Cityscape Global
that entered its second day on Monday.
Sheikh Mohammed later toured some of the pavilions at the Dubai
International Convention and Exhibition Centre, accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan
Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai
Executive Council, and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Deputy Ruler of Dubai and president of the Dubai International Financial
Center.
He also made a stop-over at the Falconcity stand.
Salem Al Moosa, Chairman & General Manager of Falconcity showed Sheikh
Mohammed the major landmarks and architectural wonders from around the world
that will be built in the multi-purpose mega project being developed across
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum was impressed on the
layout and design of Falconcity of Wonders and specially the “Pyramids
Park”, which will occupy the west side of more than 41 million square feet
of land and shaped to represent the falcon development.
During this year’s edition of Cityscape Global, Falconcity of Wonders will
also announce the completion of 202 villas, located in the Western
Residences of the Falconcity of Wonders, in addition to tie ups and
collaborations with international service providers and investors to operate
and invest within the Community Center like Hypermaket, kids nursery.
Falconcity of Wonders will have a dedicated team of professionals available
throughout the three-day exhibition to promote the project and accommodate
those who would like to know more about the project.
Sheikh Mohammed reviewed the latest projects displayed by real estate and
tourism companies across the UAE as well as other investment projects that
aim to boost the country’s economy and help create job opportunities.
Commencing his tour, Sheikh Mohammed stopped at the pavilion of Meraas
Holding Group and was briefed by its Chairperson Ahmed Mohammed Al Habbai on
the group’s latest construction and recreational projects.
Sheikh Mohammed also viewed the group’s “La Mer” project that located at
Dubai’s exclusive beachfront district Jumeirah in the vicinity of Pearl
Jumeirah Island.
Meanwhile, Global property exhibitors taking part in the 13th edition of the
Cityscape Global described the Dubai property market as very lucrative.
The developers confirmed that the opening day of the event on Sunday has
been very successful and positive towards their respective major projects.
Besides the global participants, local property developers both from the UAE
and GCC also expressed optimism at the robust realty sector, adding that the
strength of the industry is much stronger than the pre-recession period,
when the property industry was at its peak.
Now the phenomenon is different, as tough RERA regulations and stringent
property laws have made the sector more powerful, as only serious players
remain at the helm.
Business has been brisk, as developers say they have registered potential
buyers for their respective projects.
Shurooq

showcasing a portfolio of its projects at this year’s event. The authority is
showcasing a number of development projects, including Al Jabal Resort ñ The
Chedi Khorfakkan, Sir Bu Nuair Island, the Heart of Sharjah, Al Bait Hotel,

aim of making the maximum possible positive impact on their immediate
environments. We take great care to ensure that matters such as
sustainability and ecological impact of each development are taken into
consideration. Furthermore, each project is designed to allow for
collaboration between local and international concerns.”
