Mohammed bin Rashid receives leaders of business community

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met this evening at Al Bahr with CEOs and presidents of Arab and foreign investment companies and corporations and business community leaders.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed welcomed, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, more than 600 Arab and foreign investors and businessmen who are running their businesses in the UAE amidst safe incubating, social and humanitarian environment characterised with stability and familial interaction amongst various components of the UAE community during the month of mercy and tolerance.

Sheikh Mohammed shook hands with his guests and exchanged cordial talks with them on a variety of topics regarding their living and work conditions and got assured of stability of their families.

Sheikh affirmed to the audience that he is keen to meet with them especially in the Holy Month of Ramadan and other occasions to get assured of their well-being and listen to their proposals for their convenience and comfort of their families and provide best facilities to ensure success and growth of their businesses for the benefit of their businesses and ''our national economy.'' As he acquainted himself with investors and businessmen and their sectors of business, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his pleasure with the presence of such broad cultural diversity in the UAE, which allows UAE sons and daughters to get knowledge about cultures of more than 200 nationalities who, in turn, acquaint themselves with the culture and civilisation of our great Arab people.

For their part, leaders of the business community they were glad at meeting Sheikh Mohammed at a Ramadan open evening and listen to his positive views, which they said bring optimism at the future and peace of mind at what is waiting for them in a State that upholds tolerant Arab and Islamic values and traditions and has applicable laws that protect all without distinction.

The evening was also attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group,H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs,Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and a number of senior officials.
